Medical Director

Dylan McKenney MD is the founder and medical director of Awaken Mental Health. He is a psychiatrist with board certification in child and adolescent psychiatry and adult psychiatry. He has a deep commitment to exploring innovative approaches to mental health treatment. His journey in this field has been profoundly enriched by his specialized training in psychedelic therapies at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS). Dr. McKenney has had the privilege of studying under renowned experts in the use of ketamine assisted psychotherapy. He completed advanced KAP training at the Ketamine Training Center. This rigorous program provided him with the skills and insights necessary to effectively integrate ketamine-assisted psychotherapy into his practice, offering patients new avenues for healing and personal growth.

Dr. McKenney’s work is driven by a passion for combining traditional psychiatric methods with cutting-edge treatments to provide transformative individualized care. He is committed to staying at the forefront of psychiatric innovation, continually learning and adapting to offer his patients the most effective treatment possible.

Dori Hart has over 16 years of experience in providing psychotherapy. She is an accomplished Internal Family Systems and ketamine assisted psychotherapist dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and groups. She has profound interest in the healing potential of nonordinary states and a commitment to fostering community. Dori completed the Ketamine Training Center’s community-based experiential training program, which has equipped her to provide the highest standard of care in ketamine assisted psychotherapy.

Dori skillfully integrates breath work, sound healing, meditation, and spirituality into her therapeutic approach, offering a holistic path for clients to explore their innate capacity for healing, transformation, and open-hearted living. Her practice is rooted in the belief that every individual has the potential for profound personal growth and wellness.

Andaria Linn PMHNP

Andaria Linn PMHNP

Clinician

Andaria Linn is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with over a decade of experience in mental health care, including inpatient work at Maine General Hospital and her current role at Greater Portland Health Community Health Clinic. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern Maine in 2019. In 2024, she completed a year-long training in psychedelic-assisted therapy through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute, with a focus on ketamine, psilocybin, and MDMA-assisted treatments. This training enriched her holistic, patient-centered approach and expanded her tools for supporting those with treatment-resistant conditions. Andaria is especially drawn to psychedelic-assisted therapy as it is a modality that honors each person’s innate capacity for healing. Outside of her clinical practice, she enjoys exploring Maine’s coastline by sea kayak and its forests through hiking and cross-country skiing.

Katie Smith, MA

Practice Manager

Kathryn Smith is Practice Manager and facilitates ketamine treatment sessions. She has foundational belief in the immense capacity for healing that lies within each individual. Her work is centered around guiding individuals through transformative processes that foster personal growth and spiritual insight. Kathryn is committed to helping others build a stronger relationship with themselves, tapping into their inner healing intelligence.

With a background in holistic healing modalities and traditional Chinese medicine, Kathryn brings a comprehensive and integrative approach to her practice. Her passion for human potential in health and healing is both a personal and professional calling, and she holds the transformation and growth of those she works with in highest regard.

Kathryn is deeply invested in advancing her understanding of the intersection of palliative care and psychedelic-assisted therapy, with a focus on how novel treatments can enhance end-of-life care, alleviate existential distress, and improve quality of life for patients facing serious illness. These areas of interest underscore her dedication to exploring how these powerful modalities can deepen healing and support personal growth in profound and meaningful ways.

Glen Bolduc RN

Glen Bolduc RN

Education Director

Glen is a Registered Nurse with over 15 years’ experience, much of that in behavioral nursing. He has nearly 10 years’ experience in clinical education, supporting inpatient and outpatient nursing and medical assistant practices. He is a professor of nursing at Central Maine Community College instructing both theoretical and clinical skills. His work experience includes Basic Life Support instruction, mental health crisis intervention training, clinical informatics experience, and creation of clinical workflows through policy writing, electronic health record formatting, and data analysis.

Glen’s work with Awaken Mental Health is focused on clinical pathway development, regulatory compliance, and clinical skills training and maintenance.

Katherine (Kait) Pressey FNP

Katherine (Kait) Pressey FNP

Clinician

Kait is a FNP and a clinician working in palliative, hospice, and psychiatric care for over 20 years.  She is a CIIS graduate of the psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy program and is completing psychiatric nurse practitioner certification.  She holds Reiki Master Teacher certification, and previously was a somatic bodyworker.

When we seek to find hope and meaning, healing can still occur, even in the midst of incurable illness or at end of life.  Through her years of experience, Kait has seen great shifts occur while in non-ordinary states of consciousness when clients come to trust their own experience and capacity for healing.

Kait is a healer and medicine holder, naturalist, and forager with reverence for our beautiful and diverse world.  Walking between worlds of settler and indigenous ancestry, she is honored to work with members of the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ community.

Chief Financial Officer

Keith Gibson is the Chief Financial Officer of Awaken Mental Health, overseeing financial operations, strategy, and growth. His work sits at the intersection of healthcare finance and his long-standing passion for improving access to care. With extensive experience supporting community health and behavioral health organizations in finance roles, Keith brings a deep understanding of the financial challenges and opportunities in patient-centered care. He lives in Maine, where he enjoys sailing Casco Bay in the summer and skiing Maine’s mountains in the winter.
